bq34z110 equivalent replacement?

Hi Tom (Cosby),

I just noticed today that the bq34z110 is not recommended for new designs. This is very unfortunate since this seems to be a somewhat unique device. I need a battery gas gauge that can go as high a 670Ahr (preferably more) and measure 300A.

Question:

I'm told by TI that the bq34z100 is the suggested replacement. But it seems that device is limited to monitor batteries with very little total capacity (29Ahr) and little current (34A)? The 34z110 could do 650Ahr and 320A in x10 mode. Could you point me to a Gas Gauge that can do the same or better than the 34z110?

Also assuming I were using the 34Z110 and needed to monitor a battery that was 1000Ahr would there be a way to use multiple 34z110 to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!
