BQ34Z100 - Charted Average current not stable with pulsed load

BQ34Z100 - Charted Average current not stable with pulsed load.

Hi,

With a pulsed load of 500mA x 2s, 0mA x 2s, 1000mA x 2s, 0mA x 2s (Repeat) to TDA the charted log of Average current is as shown on the attached file.

The period of the waveform is approx. 300  sec. The yellow line is the calculated average ie 375mA.

The result is that over the course of the discharge we are approx. -20% out. If the discharge was constant it would be correct.

Any ideas what could be going on or if a setting could be changed to solve?
