BQ34Z100-G1: TS pin pull down network

What is the effective input resistance to the TS pin? The datasheet mentions a pull-down network is implemented in the chip but does not provide the input resistance. In section 6.11 of the datasheet some input resistance is noted but the 8M Ohm resistor can't be used to measure voltage (and thus temp) because the thermistor is on the order of k Ohms in a 0 - 40C temp range.

I am trying to use the same thermistor for both my bq24600 charger and this bq34z100-g1 fuel gauge so I need to know the input resistance of this pin.

Is this pull-down network always active? Or is the input only pulled down when the Temperature() function is called?
