BQ27421-G1: SOC Reporting Incorrectly as 100%

I'm using the BQ27421-G1B in a design that is currently shipping, and we are occasionally seeing some strange SoC reporting upon initial power-on by the user.
At the factory, our battery is connected to our PCB, our user firmware is flashed onto our MCU, and then the MCU configures the fuel gauge with our battery characteristics (BATTERY_DESIGN_CAPACITY, etc.). The device is then shut down for shipping, and the fuel gauge remains in SLEEP mode until the end user receives the product and powers it on.
In at least one instance, we saw that the fuel gauge reported StateOfCharge as 100% upon initial power-on, despite the fact that our battery ships at 70~75%. During this time, the reported battery voltage was 4.05V (out of 4.35V) and temperature was about 29 C. At the same time, FullAvailableCapacity was 532 mAh and NominalAvailableCapacity was 406 mAh - which to me means that StateOfCharge should have been 406/532 => 76% or so. After ~6 hours of reporting 99~100%, during which current draw was <<1mA, state of charge dropped abruptly to 74% and started behaving properly after that.
Any idea why the fuel gauge may have reported SoC as 100% for so long, despite the fact that both the battery voltage and the NominalAvailableCapacity reading indicated a much lower value?

Is there an easy way to convert from .gg image file from bqEVSW (Version 0.9.90) to .gg.csv or .srec image file used by bqStudio?
We have updated from BQ34Z100 to BQ34Z100-G1 and the old bqEVSW program doesn't recognize the new device and the new bqStudio doesn't recognize the old device or its golden image file.
Our production line is down until we can get the new bqStudio running. Any help will be appreciated.

BQ40Z50-R1: Cell thermal fuse open

We have an application use bq40z50R1 and once a while we notice one of thermal fuse in the cell (3 cells in parallel) always open. (The first connected cell) For this application; we solder 3 cells on the PCB before we programming the bq chip.
Another application we have; we actually program bq first then solder the batteries and I never see any single thermal fuse tripped at the few thousand builds.
My question is what exactly sequence is correct? Programming then soldering the cells or doesn’t matter.

I am working on a design for my customer that is a bit unique.They want a configurable output with constant power, from a 48v DC input, The outputs either 24v at 2.5A or 12v at 5A or 6v at 10A. I think I can do this with a multi phase controller and use the same output inductors and same output caps by changing the switching frequency with a multi phase controller. So for example if i run the switcher at say 1MHz for a 24v output, one phase only, or at 500kHz 2phases for the 12v output, or 4 phases at 250KHz for the 5 volt output.
Is this possible with the LM5143?Or is there another device you would recommend?

We are working with the TPS2549Q1EVM eval board (USB Charge Port). The design uses the LM53603AQPWPRQ1 Switching power supply. The schematic indicates an input voltage range of 7V-18V. That switcher has an input range of 3.5V-36V.
Our application needs the wider range, why is the TPS2549 eval board design limited to 18V?

My customer testing with bq40z80 evm.
They using BQstudio V1.3.86.3 and 4800_0_04-bq40z80.bqz.
BQstudio connected BQ40Z80, it is OK.
But when they try chemistry update, error is occurred after "Program selected chemistry"
Refer to below image.
I think BQ40Z80's FW version(V0.02) is not match bqz version(V0.04).
Can you provide last firmware of BQ40Z80?

In datasheet p.1 Simplified Schematic,
Capacitor of REF pin is 2.2µF.
But Capacitor of REF pin is 0.33µF in EVM User's guide.
Please tell us the reason why value of capacitance are different.

In the middle of these high and low position instructions, it is said that it can manually set high and low position.
