Part Number:UCD3138FW-HSFB
Based on UCD3138, a full-bridge hard-switching power supply was used to test the waveform of the primary winding of the transformer.
Some of them are normal, and some of them appear as the following figure: "High and low shoulders".
What is going on?

Hi team
My customer asked minimum capacitor value of soft start.
Customer have removed Css for reduce switchover time(ton) to a minimum.
But they have confirmed that switchover time increases(ton) when there is no CSS.
We didn't find information about minimum Css value at the Datasheet.
- I checked Table 1, Figure 6 and Equation 10, but I don'n find minimum Css value.
Please shared information of about minimum Css value.
Thank you

Hello Team,
Thanks for your support. I have 2 questions about current limit feature.
Q. I think this device is cycle by cycle current limit. I would like to know the timing when the current limiting behavior is happened. Is it immediately worked when the high- side switch current hits the threshold? OR is there any delay between overcurrent detected and current limiting happened?
Q. In the datasheet, the current limit threshold is 2.9A(min), 5.3A(typ). What is the maximum value?
Thanks,

Hi, Team,
We have questions for the TPS6508640 + ZU6. Could you please support?
◆ Sequence of VCCINT and VCCBRAM
VCCINT will be generated by "TPS544C25". My customer plans to use "6.3 TPS6508640 Design and Settings". In the sequence diagram, "VCCINT" has risen after "VCCBRAM". The device specification of Zynq ZU6 recommends launching "VCCINT" first. We think it is different from the recommended sequence, is it correct?
◆ About I/O power supply
The following voltages are considered for the I/O power supply of Zynq.
・ PS side I/O power supply "VCCO_PSIO": +3.3 V
・ IO side power supply of PL side “VCCO_HDIO”: + 3.3V “VCCO_HPIO”: + 1.8V
In the data sheet "6.3 TPS6508640 Design and Settings",
"VCCO_HDIO" uses "LDOA2" to generate "0.7 V to 1.5 V".
"VCCO_HPIO" uses "LDOA3" to generate "0.7V to 1.5V".
As this does not meet the specifications if
"VCCO_PSIO" and "VCCO_HDIO" are generated from BUCK1
"VCCO_HPIO" is considered to be generated from BUCK5,
Sequence specification can not be satisfied. Could you tell me the recommended power supply configuration when I/O voltage is the above specification? Should they control by inserting a load switch etc. separately?
◆ About power supply for DDR memory
They plan to adopt DDR3L. Please tell me how to set VDDQ: + 1.35V and VTT: 0.675V.
(Is it the setting of CTL1 and CTL2 pins?)

Hi team
My customer asked Class 4 output spec of TPS23753A.
1. As the below table, if I applied 63.4Ω to 11pin of TPS23753A , is the class normally recognized and output? Is it any test result for that?
2. Power range of the class4 is shown as 12.95~25.5W. Can it be used with 13.5W output? Is it test data for it?
Please check and reply.
Thank you

Hello,
The dimensions of pins that are shown in below image is not given in the datasheet or they are not understandable. What is the dimensions of these pins? Do you have geometry/cell folder produced for MENTOR? Thank you.

Part Number:LMG3410R070
This is a question that ties UCD3138 controller for our system. The power will be rectified by 2 LMG3410 as shown in the earlier msg.
Can you review this attached pdf & see if this makes sense?
Here is the thinking process that has gone on here.
Since GaN does not have "body diode" that begins the startup build of output voltage even in absence of sync rectifier drive signal, we have to adopt a little aggressive method yet without any operational hazard.
In our power stage, we know by computation/modeling approx sync turn on - when it starts & approx duration. ( typ 1 usec)
Then , why not force this pulse on the sync switches in order as shown in the attached waveforms? And when the controller decides steady state, it fine tunes the drive signals.
For this to happen, we must sense DC current at appropriate places which we can do using AA024 ultra miniature 1 Meg HZ sensor from NVE. Interestingly, in this manner of sensing will make the sensor delay a moot issue.
Because of this sensing, we derive the sync ON pulses for steady state which will be marginally different from forced conditions at startup(Please visit the site to view this file).
What would you think of this strategy?
Would we be able to provide the sensed signals to the UCD3138 & get the pulses from one of the many PWM outputs? if these are too narrow, we can feed a comparator output as hi/lo signals as well. There is no absolute need for UCD to deal with the analog fast sensor signals.

Hi Onyx:
As you know we had one fail Fuel Guage that caused I2C bus didn't work. This Fuel Gauge was sent back to TI to do FA process. There was a discovery that Instruction flash is blank. And it recovered via loading srec file. So I have some questions based on this.
1, The reason causing I2C bus doesn't work and hang is IF blank. Is my understanding right?
2, How does IF become blank during update? What reason and process?
3,What steps are need to update FG via dffs file?
4,Is deadband change stored in 'Instruction flash' or 'Data flash'?
5, Update bqfs file flow is like below. And I attach data transformation file(it is got from I2C analyzer) using EV2400 and bqfs file. Cloud you tell me when does erasing Instruction flash happen in attached file? I want to the exact time to erase IF.(Please visit the site to view this file)

Dear support team
Seeing the data sheet, Rise time(us) of 10%→90% seems to be calculated by Vin×0.8/SR.
Is there any formula to estimate Rise time of 0%→100%?
It will be helpful if it is as accurate as possible.

Part Number:BQSTUDIO
It appears that I can load most of the configuration, system data, gas gauging, Ra Table values from my golden image, but it doesn't appear to update any of the calibration data values stored in the golden image. Is this area protected? Do I need to change a preference in my bqStudio in order to import calibration information into data memory? The old bqEVSW allowed the golden image to import all data flash values including calibration values (CC Gain, CC Delta, CC Offset, Board Offset, Voltage Divider, etc). How can I get these calibration data memory values to update when I use "Import from file"?
The old bqEVSW seemed to change CC Gain, CC Delta, CC Offset, and Voltage Divider when running just the Voltage calibration. The bqStudio software seems to only touch the Voltage Divider value. Is this true?
Do I need to perform CC Offset and Board Offset calibration steps in addition to the Voltage calibration step?
I tried to post these questions on TI's Customer Support page (Case #CS0020311) but the only reply I got was that they didn't know and that E2E community was my best option for answers.
Jeff.
Part Number:LM5050-1
Hi team,
could you please help check whether the requirements below can be achieved by LM5050-1?
Two 12V input, A and B.
B is the first priority, if A has power, B has power. B will be on.
If A has power , B doesn't have power. A will be on.
could you please help share the priority setting methods?
Thanks.

Part Number:TLC6C5712-Q1
Hi all,
I would like to know if there are any other influences by setting error register masks. There are fault-masking registers in TLC6C5712-Q1. Are there any possibilities for these registers to disable any other fault detection? For example, setting READ_PWM_FAULT_MASK register makes also READ_SHORT_GND_FAULTx indicating functionality not available (just example and not true).

Part Number:BQ24192
Hello team,
customer is using BQ24192 in his schematic and wants to use single thermistor ,
can he short ts1 and ts2 and connect it to the center point between the resistance and thermistor ?
is this a valid condition .
Customer also mentioned a case when the charging the battery is happening perfectly fine however the charge indicator pin does not blink .
The solution to this issue comes out by shorting TS1 and Ts2 and connecting it to a valid resistor divider , is this expected ?
Hello
According to the C55xx_PowerSpreadsheet_RevB.xlsm file. The total power consum of C55XX is below of 37mA with 100MHz.
But the real Current of my product can reach to 80mA with part of peripherals opened. If the dsp enters into RTC-ONLY model. The Current is about 10mA.
What causes the power consumption to vary greatly? Could you tell me how to optimize the power supply usage, especailly in software implements.
Thank you very much

Hi Team,
whether the device can accept SVB voltage change as other devices with feedback resistor? if the customer use feedback resistor, why the internal reference should be close to the Vout? Thanks.
