UCC2893: the difference between UCC2891 and UCC2893

Hi all,

Is the difference between UCC2891 and UCC2893 IC internal elements is only Active L and Active H of AUX terminal?
In short, the difference of IC in Active Clamp Forward Low side Clamp circuit and Active Clamp Flyback High side Clamp circuit is only Active L and Active H of Output terminal for Clamp?

  I  want to know the when does  the "cycle count" change, is there any limit to this parameter change? I don't see any  description about the ""cycle count" in the datasheet. 

 1. Does it change immediately after the charge-discharge cycle or does it change immediately after charge or  discharge?

  2. can you tell me How long does it take for the cycle count to increase after the CC threshold reaches its set value? one second? or other result?

TPS54620: connect EN pins together with TPS56121

My customer connects EN pins of tps54620 and tps56121 together. I think it is fine as both have internal pullup current source,which can be paralleled, in Function Block Diagram of datasheet. Could you pls help confirm if there is any risk for the actual inside circuit?

LMG1210: PCB Layout & TI Vault connection

Hi,

I'm in the process of building a class D amplifier using the new LMG1210 drivers. (I'm probably paying too much for the op-amps, feel free to suggest alternatives). It operates from a 500kHz PWM signal using a series of opamps. I'll include the schematic below.

I used the schematic provided for the LMG1210 evaluation board and modified it for my design. I'm running in to some issues though connecting to the Texas instruments altium vault for the footprints when I want to create my PCB. The footprints for all components that were originally on the schematic are unavailable due to "No connection to the vault".

How can i connect to the vault to use these footprints?

I plan to follow the same layout as the evaluation board but because my output stage is BTL instead of single ended, i'm unsure whether to place the second leg next the the first leg like the schematic or parallel. I'll also place the inductors on the top instead of the bottom of the board.

Hi

Customer want to use LM5170-Q1 in a new project.

The high voltage side is voltage range of 20V~30V, the low voltage side is battery 12.6V (voltage range from 10V to 14V)

There are 2 batteries in this system, they want to control separately.

Can they configure this system as below figure?

LM5107-Q fault detection is disable, Back-Back MOSFETs are controlled by MCU.

When direction from high voltage side to low voltage side, buck1 and buck2 are on, Back-Back MOSFET 1 is turned off by MCU, does this work?

When direction from low voltage side to high voltage side, boost1 and boost2 are on, Back-Back MOSFET 1 is turned off by MCU, does this work?

I have encountered some problems about using TPS54335A to create an inverting power supply. The questions are as below.

As illustrated in figure 1, it is a 12V to -5V reference design. The type of the pin VSENCE is input, the pin PH output Vout. I think that the function of Pin VSENCE is feedback the Vout through the resistor divider.

That Vout through a series of calculations in the chip, finally we can get the Vout through pin PH. But here’s a question: the output voltage is adjustable, the formula is: Vout=VSENCE*(R5/R6+1), in this formula, VSENCE is fixed? So when the R5,R6 changed, then Vout changed? But when the VSENCE is fixed, how can VSENCE feedback the Vout?

BQ24780S: PROCHOT timing requirment

Hi, Team,

My customer configures to output PROCHOT when the AC adapter is disconnected. However, if they insert the AC adapter and immediately pull it out in about 1 second, PROCHOT didn't output.  Is there any spec for that? It seems that there is a time lag for connecting the AC adapter and enabling PROCHOT output.

"Bit0 = Bit 0: ACOK, 0: disable (default at POR); 1: enable (one-shot falling edge triggered)" of "ProchotOption1 Register (0x3DH) bit [6: 0] PROCHOT input current envelop selector (PROFILE)" is enabled.

Hi Team,

What is the LM317 input withstand voltage? As it only list the input to output differential voltage in datasheet, how can I get the input withstand voltage(Vin max)?

If my customer use it to 24V→12V, does it's input withstand voltage is 12+37=49V?

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about BQ25713 input capacitor.

1) It looks that the EVM has 60uF of CERMs and 33uF of TA balk on the VIN line. If there is more capacitance(e.g. total 200uF), should it be acceptable case or is there any concern for larger input capacitor case. Some application may have a larger bulk cap on the VBUS input.

2) Can the 33uF of TA alter to CERM or E-caps as well?
