Part Number:UCC28740

Hello E2E,

Please let me know about PMP30435.
I tried calculation about transformer using sluc487. Calculated result is Lp=10mH over. The calculation results and the specifications of the TID transformer do not match.

Can I have a design calculation document for transformer of PMP30435?

BQ4050: CEDV coefficients configuration

Part Number:BQ4050

Hi,

Will the same CEDV coefficients obtained from TI GPC Tool for 4S8P pack with 3.2V per cell and 25.6 Ah with bq4050 work for a 4S6P pack with 3.2V per cell and 19.2 Ah.?

Or is it required to run the Temperature Chamber tests again and upload to GPC tool for 4S6P pack ?

And are the CEDV coffecients only dependent on no. of cells in series or also on the no. of cells in parallel?

Also in the GPC report sent from TI it is mentioned -(Accuracy Error: Deviation is so high that it is most likely due to anomaly in the data) but also provided with CEDV co-efficients ,so how likely and accurate are the CEDV coefficients provided from GPC tool considering the deviation.

Part Number:LMG3410R070

Customer wants to use LMG341x with only 1-2AMPs continuous current & over current trip around 7-10AMPS is needed. Datasheet shows Current Fault Trip Point of 36A. Is it possible to adjust the fault trip current ?

Voltage is 110V.

Or could you suggest any other part supporting above requirement ?

Part Number:TPS40170

Hi team,

I measured the phase margin and gain margin of the TPS40170 using FRA.

The phase margin value I measured was 65 degrees.

According to the SLVA662(Page. 2), the recommended Phase margins is 45 degrees to 60 degrees.

Does this result afffect the operation?

BQ25713: BATDRV switching time

Part Number:BQ25713

Hello,

I'd like to know how to calculate the switching time of BATDRV output voltage, external PFET gate from high to low.
I can find Rbatdrv_off=1.2kohm on the datasheet and guessed it may be calculated by this 1.2kohm and Ciss of the PFET, is it correct?

When the VBUS input is removed suddenly with pulling the system load, the supply should be switched to supplement mode. During the transition, the body diode on the BATFET can help suppling to the load and the voltage drop on the system can be clamped by the Vf, is this understanding also correct?

Thanks in advance,
S.Sawamoto

TLV61046AEVM-833: About output voltage

Part Number:TLV61046AEVM-833

Hello.

In TLV61046AEVM-833, it is used at Vin = 3V, Vout = 12V, Iload = 80mA.

When Vin = 2.8 V, the output voltage drops.

However, when the input voltage is gradually lowered from Vin = 3 V to 2.8 V, the output voltage does not drop.

Is this the performance of the TLV 61046A?

LM431: LM431

Part Number:LM431

Hi TI team,

We're using LM431 in a Crowbar OVP circuit. We have been facing something strange in this use case of LM431; it is that initially the crowbar was triggering way above the designated threshold and consequently we made changes in the resistor divider circuit that defines the threshold for LM431, At this point of time the crowbar seems to be working fine but whenever we try to measure the reference voltage being received by LM431 using multimeter it triggers the crowbar, even though the supply is 5V.

Below is the circuit: Version 1

Version 2: Modified resistor divider.

With version 1, the OVP was triggering at around 7V and with version 2 it is triggering at 5.7V.
But as stated above the OVP triggers whenever we try to measure the reference voltage of LM431.
Could you give us some insight on the cause of this?
Thanks,
Abhinav

Part Number:LM3429

LM3429 is used for both standing light and flashing light functions:

By controlling 3-pin analog signal and 7-pin PWM signal to achieve two conditions,

1: chang liang; We lower the PWO, that is to say, make the 7-pin voltage greater than 1.24v. At this time, the constant light value changes with the PWM change of 5600-flash-hold.

2: flashing light; We add a fixed PWM value in the 5600-flash-hold. When the MCU (P54 is low) receives a trigger signal, we lower the PWO 20ms and the light flashes.

However, the FLASH value does not change with the value of 5600-flash-hold here. It is always the maximum value! What is the reason?

Part Number:TPS61222

Hello!

Please could you help me to get answer on the questions about working of TPS61222?
1. What is the current at the FB input in “disable” (Ven = 0) and “enable” (Ven = Vin) modes at a voltage of 5 V at this input?
2. What is the resistance of the internal divider connected to the input FB?

Thank you!

Part Number:CSD16407Q5

Hi Expert,

The customer sees the CSD16407Q5 is damage on their applicant.

The user case is Oring-Fet of power supply .

The engineer need TI to confirm the question below:

  1. Pls check whether CSD16407Q5 is capable to sustain the turn on loss from the waveform. Pls advice CSD16407Q5 rating can support the switching energy or not.

    Red:Vgs   Blue:Vds   Green: Ids

2. Second question from the waveform.Whether the Mos is fully on during the Vgs raise to 2 ~ 2.5V?Since the current might go through the body diode for the Oring- FET applicant if the Mos not turn on ? How we know the IDS is coming from the body diode or not?

3.If the MOS stayed at the high temperature. The customer ask the rds still become lower than room temperature specified during vgs raise to 2 ~ 2.5V now.

Part Number:TPS659037

Hi,

Let the additional questions for the following thread.

e2e.ti.com/.../2935472
〉2. Starting at Table 5-9 in the datasheet explains the ON and OFF requests and what can gate them.
〉For example: "The DEV_ON event has a lower priority over other ON events; it forces the TPS659037 device to go to the OFF state only if no other ON conditions are keeping the device active"

Please tell me the condition of "other ON conditions" in detail.
The conditions for writing 0 to the DEV_ON bit are as follows.

・PWRON : High
・PWRDOWN : Open
・RESET_IN : High
・POWERHOLD : High

Customer can not imagine a pattern (example) that requires writing a 0 to the DEV_ON bit.
Could you give me your advice?

Yusuke
