Part Number: BQ76930
BQ76930 will be no communication after normal operation for a period of time, it can't read and write data. It can rest only disconnect cell. Whether the battery enters a state?
Hi,
My customer want to find a mature 200W AC/DC scheme. Parameters as attachment.
Do we have such mature 200W AC/DC scheme?
Thanks!(Please visit the site to view this file)
Part Number: BQ24640
Hi,
Currently, we are looking for a solution for charging super cap(two cells in series, each one is 25F/2.7V and the charging time is 90s). I’m not sure if TPS92515 is effective to charge the super cap(Vin=12V). Or BQ24640 is better? Or do you have other charging solutions?
Besides, I’m also looking for the cell balancing solution. Do you have some suggestions?
Looking forward to your reply! Thank you so much!

Part Number: LM5122
Hi Expert,
I see LM5122 integrated with a 3A gate driver, could you tell what's the maximum power that LM5122 can support with single phase converter? Below is the basic spec for one application. customer want to use two phase in parallel, so each phase should support up to 1.5kW. If LM5122 can't support such high power level, can they realize this by adding external deriver?
Input voltage: 48V
Output voltage: 72V
Power level: 3000W
Part Number: TPS63020EVM-487
Hi Webmaster,
My customer was testing the TPS63020 for SSD power system.
Their system Vin=2.6V ~ 5V, Vout = 3.3V and Iout = 2A
When they are using TPS63020EVM and test under this condition, TPS63020 only have 3.3V, 1.2A output.
If we change loading to 2A, the voltage will drop to 1.5V.
When I configure the design setting into the Wenbench, TPS63020 can drive 3.3V, 1.9A output.
My question is how to shorten the test gap with Wenbench simulation?

David
Part Number: BQ25895
Hi,
Is there any way that BQ25895 can detect a battery is attached? I lookup the datasheet the INT pin will raise interrupt when USB input or any FAULT or charge complete.
But I do not find how to detect battery input. Please tell me , thanks.
Part Number: TPS51200
Dear, Sir.
My question is related to the contents of this thread;
My customer apply TPS51200 for DDR3. SO, they was facing the inrush
input current on VLDOIN & outout on VO pins. They apply TPS51200 for DDR3.
They tried to add 1 ohm resistor between VLDOIN and VREF pin, then
the input peak was reduced from 2.75A to 0.688A.
So, I would like to confirm followings;
1. Is it no problem on this kind of usage for TPS51200?
2. If no problem, How much voltage drop should be estimated on VLDOIN
pin?
3. Personally, I think Trcking Start-up and shutdown is not so good for
DDR. Because DDR has the initialization time inside.
S3 and pseudo S5 is better to escape from unknown VTT setting
inside of DDR. How do you think about my thinking?
I an hoping to get your advice.

Part Number: TPS61088
Hi,
one of the project we are using TPS61088 part, this part is design for Vin-->8.4V and Vout-->12V at 3A but this part is regulating output voltage to 12V for ~2sec then its output voltage is bumping from 12V to ~14V .

Part Number: UCC28950
Hi Team,
My customer has some application issues about UCC28950.
1. they cannot realize synchronous rectification.
2. UCC28950 restart when power exceeds 400Watts.
I will asked customer to provide more details on this E2E post, could you help to review?
thanks a lot.
Best regards,

Part Number: TLV62585
Hi
I got a question form my customer.
I found the following thread.
There are listed that first output voltage step can be reduced as the converter will react faster when output voltage reaches the first target of the soft start ramp by using feed forward capacitor.
Are there the recommend or min/max value of that feed forward capacitor?
Part Number: BQ27532-G1
Hi,
There is an issue about the I2C of bq27532.
1.Power from battery => Sometimes, MCU can not read/write bq27532 via I2C. I2C of BQ24295 always works fine.
2.Unplug USB port => MCU can not read/write bq27532 via I2C.
3.Power from USB port (battery connected)=> no this issue.
Could you please help to check the schematic if any issue about this ?
Part Number: LM5122-Q1
Hi,
I am using LM5122 for start-stop application. I developed pcb and tested. Used PMP7936 LM5122 reference design. Its below.
Design is working . But i have a problem. When the frequency value is 250 KHz, fets are warming up to 100°C. I solved this problem by reducing the frequency. I couldn't find anything about the minimum frequency.
I want to learn;
* Is it correct to lower the frequency to reduce warming?
* What is the advantage-disadvantage of low / high frequency?
* What else can be done to prevent overheating at high frequency? (I change snubber components. Another else?)

Hi Sir
Could you kindly help to provide LM3489 excel tool?

Hi Team,
I received an inquiry from my customer on the bode plot capabilities of our Fusion Digital Power Designer. They are asking if we have any documents regarding the small signal models used by the GUI.
They are particularly interested in the LLC small signal model that was used in the tool. Is there any chance that you can share the derivation for the plant-transfer function so that they can study on their end?
Thanks!

Alfred

If the smoothing function is enabled, self discharge rate and electronics load can't add to SOC's calculation. Only the smoothing function is disabled, they can add to SOC's calculation. If i need to have smoothing function, self discharge rate and electronics load, how can i do?

Hello,
Part Number: TPS54302
Hi, Team,
I have a basic question for the TPS54302 0.1uF boot capacitor.
Is there any ceramic capacitor spec requirement except for capacitance and voltage?

Hello,
The PMIC's VDD1 +1.0V regulator that supplies CVDD1 rail of 66AKG12 processor produces a voltage ripple of about 50mV on our prototype. This is clearly the pulse skipping (PFM mode) power saving feature of the PMIC.
The PMIC datasheet says in chapter 7.2.2.3.2:
" At light load currents, the converter operates in PFM mode and the output voltage ripple is dependent on the output capacitor value and the PFM peak inductor current."
What is the level of "light load"? - this parameter is not defined in the datasheet.
In other words - what is the output current that causes transition from PFM to PWM mode?
We have followed the datasheet recommendation on the size of the output capacitor - 10uF.
The datasheet says:
"Higher output-capacitor values minimize the voltage ripple in PFM mode."
Does the capacitor value reduce the voltage ripple only or does it also reduce the output current threshold for PFM->PWM transition?
Thanks and Regards,
Josef Rypar

Hello,
Just confirming -- does the output voltage tolerance account for the variations among different batches and temperature?
