TPSM82822: alternative for the TPSM82821 that can't be found on the website

Hello team,

one of my customers is looking to supply a Lattice FPGA that works at 1.1V and 2.5V with roughly 1 A of current. They have available a supply of 3.3V and 5V from which to start and they also noticed that TPSM82821SILR would be a good candidate.

Unfortunately the device is visible on Webench but on the website.

Could you please confirm if it's a valid choice? If yes, can you please let me know the pricing for 1k units?

I would like to ask some questions about the boost charger of the bq22570.

I am wondering what will happen when Vin_DC > 5.1V? Can Vin_DC exceed 5.1V?

And the same question about Pin, if Pin > 510mW what will happen and can it exceed 510mW?

I have a 10 cell pack capable of delivering 100A at 37V, and a system with a max load of 1kW. I'm designing a BMS using the BQ76930 and based on current consumption needs, I chose a 2mOhm RSENS. I need to set my OCD to trip at 70A, but that means OCD is 140mV, and this chip's highest rating is 100mV. Is there a better BSM chip out there to handle this value? it seems that the OCD levels for this series are all the same... Or is there something I missed? 

Further, when I clicked the link to get the SLUCC539 programming software, the page is missing.

Hi, 

My customer is having below questions: 

PWM pin is used for dimming mode control, so frequency is from 100Hz to 22K.

In our application, we use direct PWM as LED one/off control, so IC might work as low as 60Hz.

 

Can you help to check if using directly PWM mode, can we use 60~120Hz 5% duty for this IC?

Please let us know if there are further information needed.

Dear sir / mam

 i have done with system to configuration for Alert generation .

following these steps.

1. Manufacturing Status Init.

  configuration data  in data flash is 0x001F at register 0x40D7

2. Alert1_0 Config -> register 0x413E -> value set 0x01

3.  Alert2_0 Config -> register 0x4145 -> value set 0x01

and i read the BatteryStatus() 0x0A/0x0B. and check signal in Alert pin.

Apply voltage by Battery 1 - 11.04 and other battery has 6.5 v . i have operate >5V operation.

but Alert interrupt has not generated.

so please help me.

UCC256303: UCC256303 startup issue

Dear colleague,

The customer has encountered the below issue:

1. Now they have a UCC256303 for a project. Now there is a problem with the startup.
When starting, the resonant current is too large to trigger OCP protection, resulting in a continuous restart.

2. The following waveform is the instantaneous waveform of the startup. After the completion of charge boot, the chip starts to start with a frequency of about 770K, and the frequency of five pulses is about 120K. I do not know if this startup process is normal.

BQ25890: the SYS pin output cannot be recovered after a short-circuit

TI engineers,

The BQ25890 encounters an abnormal phenomenon: under the battery power supply condition, if the SYS pin output of the BQ25890 is short-circuited to the ground, the SYS output of the BQ25890 will be protected, and the output is 0v, but the short-circuit abnormality is removed, and the SYS pin output cannot be recovered. Only insert the charge or /QON pin has a low-level pulse, you can recover, trouble to confirm whether there is any other way sys pin can automatically restore the output?

Hi, I'm trying to design a boost converter. I want to know what is the purpose of Enable function in IC TPS61175 .   i.e. My Vin = 5V, Vout = 9V ,when enable pin is pull down what will be my Vout at that time  whether it is 0V or  Vin . Please refer the datasheet block diagram .

How many LED's LED1/LED2 pin can drive. I can't find data on maximum voltage output which can be raised by internal boost converter. Hence asking for this data.

I'm using 3.3v drop white LED's in series and curious on how many of them I can use.

TPS54332: ENable hysteresis vs output voltage

I am seeing a curious phenomenon in a circuit that uses a TPS54332 as the main regulator for a 6V rail, but which is backed up with a 5.5V LDO regulator (since the TPS54332 did not want to operate at 100% duty / pass-through mode). When the output rail is already at 5.5V the ENable threshold seems to move upwards - eg with 1.701V on the ENable pin, the TSP54332 still does not turn on, despite the typical ENable threshold being 1.25V and worst case 1.35V as per datasheet.

Is this expected behaviour from the part or should it still try to start up at 1.25V ENable voltage ?

If it is expected, then is there some documentation / design information which can be used to predict the actual ENable threshold ?

Hello,

According to BQ25100H datasheet, recommended Riset value is from 540Ω to 13.5kΩ. and maximum fault resistor value is 450Ω.

What happens if customer connects 460Ω ~ 530Ω resistor to  Riset?

Iout is over 250mA? or higher Iout ?
