TPS51367: About variation of operating frequency

Hi,

I have created a circuit using the TPS51367 device.
Now I am checking the operation of the circuit, but there is concern that the operation of TPS51367 will affect other devices.
It is mainly concerning operating frequency.
I understand that TPS51367 performs DCAP2 control, so the operating frequency varies to some extent.
We know that the operating frequency is not regulated by electrical characteristics.
Still, I would like to check the variation in operating frequency and the temperature characteristics.
Can you tell me how much variation in operating frequency is assumed in my specification over the whole temperature range? There is no need to guarantee this.

(specification)
Input voltage: 6 V to 9 V
Output voltage: 1.0 V
Output current: 1.5 A to 3.5 A
MODE pin: GND connection (fsw = 400 kHz)

Hello,

I have a question regarding to the wiring of the BQ28Z610. The fuel gauge shall be implemented on our system main board for fuel gauging  only. The protection function is not needed.  We would like to use a standard lithium battery pack having 2 in series connected rechargeable batteries including a protection circuit, however the middle connection of the first cell /4.2V) is not wired out of the pack to the connector.

Is it possible to use the BQ28Z610 as fuel gauge only?

How do I have to wire the VC1 and VC2 pin?

Hi,

The quad buck TPS65400 will be used in our new design. At the system level the PMBUS feature is not used, the switching frequency ,soft-start time etc are fixed using on-board
resistors and capcitors.

But the PMBUS programming header(10pin) is to be included on the board to communicate with TPS65400 through USB2ANY and PI Commander for debugging and trouble shooting.
We are not interested in 30pin connector as on the EVM.
Q1.Do the programming header need connectios only with SCL,SDA and GND pins of TPS65400?
Q2. Kindly Verify the pin mapping of 10 pin programming header

J4-1 : SDA
J4-2 : SCL
J4-5 :GND
J4-3,4,6,7,8,9,10 : NC

CSD19536KTT: Temperature condition for R_DS(ON) in the datasheet

Hello,

There is R_DS(ON) speficication in the datasheet like the below.

For this specification, there is no description about temperature condition for this parameter.
From the below figure 7, I guess the above R_DS(ON) specification is with Tc=25C condition.
Because TYP values in the above table are the same as the values in the below Figure 7 at Tc=25C (2.2m ohm for Vgs=6V and 2m ohm for Vgs=10V).
So my question is that is this R_DS(ON) specification in above table with Tc=25C condition?

Hello

  When I using the lp87561-q1, I found that the power output was only 0.9v, but I want it to be 1.0v.
  We need to write registers to output 1.0v.
  1. May I ask whether TI  supports the fixed output of the version 1.0v? Which channels are available?
  2. If it is user development, do you have specific instructions to avoid OTP misoperation?

LMZ12002: Broken LMZ12002

Hello,

we use in our power supply four DC/DC converters (2x LMZ12002, 1x LMZ12001 and 1x LMZ14201). In the last batch we ordered (25 pcbs), 11 of the pcbs were not working because one or two of the LMZ12002 were broken: output voltage equals input voltage or output voltage = 0. Soldering out the broken LMZ12002 and replacing it by a new one fixed the problem.

We have no order the next batch now and I was wondering what we can do to avoid these problems. Therefore, I have the following questions:

  • Is the LMZ12002 less robust than the LMZ12001 and LMZ14201? Because this one was the only type which did not work.
  • How likely is it that the parts were damaged on arrival before being soldered in? (I know - this is impossible to answer). Or is the handling very critical (ESD)?
  • Do you have any suggestions what we can do nail down where the problem is coming from?

I have attached the circuit - maybe there is also something which can be improved there.

In a design i like to use more then one BQ76925. Is it possible do change the I2C_GROUP_ADDR ?

Or do i need to separate the bus between microcontroller and each chip?

                 My customer use TLV70433 in their design, Vin=5V,Vo=3.3V ,Cin&Cout=1uF , they found overshoot from TLV70433 .

                 they try add 10uF or 22uF at output cap as same result , could you give me some comment?
