Hi,
We find in our UCC25630-1EVM, there is a C7 across MOS Q1, what's the purpose of this capacitor? since we don't see this capacitor in our competitor's solution, this would increase. Could we omit this capacitor?

Hi,
What is the difference between a Power Muxing with multiple protection mode (TPS25942,TPS26600) circuit and an integrated ORing and Hot-Swap controller (TPS2474x) in terms of circuitary??
what is the suitable solution to overcome the trade-offs for Power MUXing like output Voltage drops, Inrush current, reverse Current Switchover time?
Part Number:BQ25606
Hi,
We are developing a kind of power bank solution in order to power up our systems.
We are thinking in a high level architecture like the one shown in the following picture:
The "pogo pin" connector will supply 5V to our system. The microB connector will be used for charging the battery through the BQ25606, we have several questions regarding the architecture.
1. Is the BQ25606 a valid PN for this architecture?
2. The OTG pin shall be conected to the microB connector?
3. Will the BQ25606 supply current through the microB if a PD system is attached to the microB? Or it is needed a PD port controller and a type C connector? In case it is, can you suggest a PN for making this role?
The design will be based on the default configuration such as it appears in the point 9.2 Typical Application Diagram of datasheet. In our case, the battery is single cell Li-Ion of 6000mAh, with maximun charge current of 1C and NTC 10k Ohmios.
Can you suggest a DC/DC converter for the solution?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Silvia.

Part Number:BQ27426
Hi,
two things:
First, a customer is looking for a successor of the BQ27410. It is for a system design. It should have an LDO with REGIN pin. This allows the customer to power the chip while the battery is removed.
The batteries are VARTA Easypacks, LiIon, single Cell, 1200mAh, 2400mAh.
The BQ27426 does not seem to have this LDO with REGIN pin feature and the BQ274265 is on NRND status.
Second question: what happens when removing a battery and inserting another one. Will the new battery be identified or must the saved saved data be reset?
Thanks
Fred

Hi Team,
For better EMI performance, Is it better to have GND pouring below the switching inductor(on Top Layer) or We need to keep void below inductor ?
There is confusion between User guide SLVU372 – March 2009 and application note SLVA629 –December 2013 .

Hi!
My circuit is according to p.16 of the LM2662 datasheet (voltage doubler), but works as a simple diode, though the oscillator works well.
i tried to exchange the IC and switched the load off. There is no difference, the same result.
Can somebody give the circuit with exact components?
Thanks!

You helped me when i had trouble with initialization this device. Thank you so much. May i get one other question?
The device id is read . Flash is read. But i had difficulties in writing data. May i ask you if it correct sequence of actions?
A. clean write protect
1. start
2. send device address | write
3. send
0xe2 - command
0x05 - data size
0x04, 0x00, 0x00, 0x01, 0x04 - command data value
4. repeat start
5. send device address | write
6. send
0xe3 - command
0x04 - data size
0x00, 0x00,0x88, 0x20 - command data value
stop
B. write to flash
the same sequence as above except data size - data.
-------------------------
i receive NACK when i try to send data size on step 6.
Thank you

Hi Team,
Our customer would like to know about VTTREF pin.
-------
[Q1]
“The VTTREF pin can not be open." is added to a datasheet Rev.D.
However, There is no mention of same comment in a datasheet Rev.C.
Could you please let us know the changed background?
And, could you please let us know behavior of device when VTTREF pin is open?
<Rev.C>
<Rev.D>
-------
[Q2]
Our customer doesn’t use VTTREF.
They would like to know about dispose method of VTTREF pin.
I understand that they can’t open VTTREF pin.
Therefore, I guess that they have to connect MLCC (from 0.22uF to 1uF).
Is my understanding correct?

Hi,
We are developing a BMS for Lithium-ion batteries (6 batteries) using bq76930.
I want to know about Alert pin behavior,
My understating is if any fault occurs the bq76930 set the particular bit in SYS_STAT register, due to this alert pin goes high.
If I overwrite SYS_STAT register with 0XFF alert pin will go low.
my question is
If Alert pin goes high and I am overwriting SYS_STAT with 0xFF which will make Alert pin low,
if the Fault is still persist in bq76930 , then Alert pin goes high?
if yes, At what time interval Alert pin goes high?
Thank You

Hi
Why is the WEBENCH tool limiting the current to 10A.
I need to design a supply with
Vin = 6...32V
Vou= 5V
Iout = 14A
Guess it ist related to the power losses of the 5141er.
Is there an solution? (TINA/SPICE/Excel) to calculate and simulate my design?
Best regards Rolf

I have build a system with the 10mR and everything is working as expected.
However, we are charging at 10A and therefore P=I^2 x R = 10^2 x 0,01 = 1W of power loss in the sense resistor.
The sense resistor is therefore getting hot also.
Now we wanted to test with a 1mR sense resistor, ginving only 0,1W of power loss, but then the system is not working anymore...
Till what values can the sense resistor be changed and what needs to be taken into account?
For example is it then needed to set the Iset2 ? (we left it floating now for standard 125mA and tested with 1mR and setting of 300mA, both no luck)
ACSET is also left floating.

Hi Sir
Prefact: we are developing LLC resonant converter , 24Vdc and 40A ,
Rectifier FET are FDBL86361-F085
We are facing a problem using the device as specified (-2) , as you see on scope screen , negative treshold is detected , but we expect to see a full conduction till the current rise a lower value, can you pleasse clarify this issue , the circuit is exactly what you suggested in AP note.
We also noted that Vgate is around 6V and not 9.5 as specified.
Vreg is 9.5.
Hope you can help with described issue.

Hello Sir/Madam,
Nice to E-meet with you,
One of my battery charging application i use bq24095 charging IC for charge battery as per bellow specification:
Battery: single Lithium-ion 3.7V battery
Battery capacity: 1400mAH
Charge Rating:0.2C.
So my issue is I can't get constant charging IC output voltage 4.325V approx during battery charging time.
Kindly find bellow schematic which I used for the same.
So kindly give inputs why I can't get constantly output voltage (4.325V). Currently, for some time, I get 4.325V but after some seconds of delay I got approx 3.7V instead of 4.2 or 4.325V.
Kindly give your valuable inputs for the same.
Waiting for your prompt response

Hello
In the datasheet it is specified that AGND and PGND must be seperated. We understood that agnd doesn’t need to be connected to another ground because of the internal connection between agnd and pgnd we thought that it will be okay to not connect a ground to AGND pin. But in the evm (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snvu514/snvu514.pdf ) AGND and PGND are connected with a net tie. What is the right way to use these grounds. Any help will be appreciated.
In our application we are using lmz34202 to get 5.3V output from 12V input voltage. Maximum output current will be 2 amps. We didn't connect Agnd to pgnd in this drawing for now. Should we connect them with a jumper or a 0 Ohm resistor or will it be sufficent for lmz34202 to perform as we are planning to use?
High Regards,

Please help to review the schematic.VIN IS 12V,the current is 60A.thanks a lot.
Hello,
I'm looking for a 3.3V to 5 V 300 mA automotive boost with clock sync. My initial search pulled up TPS61175-Q1 as the closest match, though the 3A and wide-Vin are a bit overkill for the proposal.
If there are any other parts I should consider? Feel free to contact me if there is something pre-release, our proposal is targeting 2020 RTP.
