1) How to decide the components D4,D6 in the figure 56. of UCC28951-Q1 datasheet? and their type of diode ( schottky or fast or ultrafast ) ? what should be the current ,voltage,and power rating of those components and how to calculate the values ?

2) what is the use of  D5,D11 in the same figure56 of UCC28951-Q1 DS .? and how to decide the component of what rating and their type of diode?

I need to know the chip thermal, so I write 0x9C to register  GPADC_SW_SELECT,

I can read value from the register GPADC_SW_CONV0_LSB and GPADC_SW_CONV0_MSB,

but I don't konw how to change the value to thermal.

TPS63070: TPS63070 device behavior with load current setup up

Hi,

i'm trying this out on EVM & when i power up the TPS63070 directly with DC source 4.8V and output load current set to 1.1A, the output voltage only give 3.06V. Then when I set the load current to 0A and voltage would rise back to 5V. At this point, I step up the load to 1.1A, the output voltage maintain at 5V. This happen only when DC electronic set to constant current(CC) mode. No problem when DC electronic load set to constant resistance(CR) mode. May i know if this is normal or should i not operate the device this way?

 BTW settings done on the device as follows:

VSEL set to HIGH

PS/SYNC set to HIGH

Hi teams,

My customer wants to know the pin of CC.
Would you tell me about follow questions?
1. About the resistor
What is the purpose the resister to connect from Coin-cell?
And, why is it the value of 10ohms?
2.On the possibility of reverse current
If the Vcc deliveried to the TPS65218, is it problem the reverse current from VCC to CC?
As the intent of this question, when the voltage of Vcc is 5V, I think that it is no compliant with UL standard it cause the current flow to the Coin-cell.
For that, does it build in the protection diode of reverse current?
Would you tell me that there is no problem even if there is no external diode to protect the UL standard?

I am using TLV1117-33 Regulator in my design. I am converting the 5V input to 3.3V output at 1A current. I am not getting any design reference in TI webbench. Kindly help me with the resistor and capacitor values to fulfill my requirement. Also provide me connectivity diagram if any new diagram is suggested apart from the one used in pg12 in datasheet.

Because it is a very small size and highly efficient system, I think we can promote it to companies.
Is there an example applied to this circuit? Or is it difficult to apply?

Hello sir,

I require to step down 74vdc to 5vdc@5A ,

I do have two options for that : (1) LM5085 (2) LM5116 

But the Input range of LM5085 is 4.5 to 75VDC.

But,due to having 74VDC ,i think this ic is not recommendable.


so,to use LM5085, is there any protection circuit that i can implement in the input of LM5085 ?

I have a different behavior if I send the poweroff command from my Linux System. With the former TPS65218B1 mounted on the same board the PMIC goes in the OFF state. The TPS65218D0 goes in the RECOVERY state (reboot after 500 ms). What could be the reason for this behavior? Is a new entry in the device tree required. My board is similar to the BeagleBoneBlack.

TPSM84424: Big idle current

Hello.

I build a prototype with TPSM84424 as 14V to 5V converter and found,

that idle current of part is about 50 mA in on-load conditions.

Part is hot, about 55 celsius at idle, wasting about 700 mW of power.

Part is working normally at 1-2-3-4 A load.

Is this idle consumption connect ?

It seems to me that it's to much current for idle....

Any ideas to check ?  This is repeated on 4 parts, so it should not be a single failure related...

How large cap and its ESR is allowed as Cout for TLV733?

Fundamentally, that's information is important to keep its output stable for P type LDO but there is no description in datasheet. 
Or N-DMOS architecture is used for TLV733 also, which is described in the following app note?

Hai,

I am using TPs560200 ic as my 3.3v power supply.When i probed the 3.3v power supply i found that ,there is noise in the output voltage.I have followed same routing topology and have used the same component values as per datasheet.What could be the possible reason for the cause of noise in the power supply.How can i purely filter out the noise and remove those noise in the output?How should i choose the cap values to filter out the noise levels in the ouput?

Please allow me ask about boot charge voltage. I understand that the boot charge voltage up to 6V at high voltage like 12V and will be approx. 3V at 5V input. Is my understanding correct? I'm asking this because it is not specified in Electrical Characteristics.
