Part Number:BQ4050

Hi

I use bq4050 in my project and I unable to write in to the data flash of bq4050.

I also refer your datasheet and technical reference. I send the block command 0x44 + data address + data(in little endien) and read 34 byte. But problem is not resolved.

Can you please tell me how to write Data in DataFlash?

Hi Team,

I am confused with this T-resistor network calculation.

Which one to follow? Attached Excel calculation or attached snap.

If I try same resistor values from snap in the resistor calculation excel, Vboost value calculated is different  and not 20V or 30V or 40V.

Kindly revert asap.

Thanks and Regards,

BQ24259: Charging current in constant current phase

Part Number:BQ24259

Hi,

I have a project with single cell 2A USB charger BQ24259.

My IC setting: PSEL = Low, OTG = Low, RILIM = 200 Ohm and it is supply from external 5V voltage source.

In datasheet I can see that fast charge current is on constant value in constant current phase (by default 2048mA). I noted that this current in my circuit is reduced below 2A when battery voltage is closer to 4,4V.

Should fast charging current be contatnt during whole constant current phase?

Waiting for reply.

Hi Onyx,

I am using fuel gauge bq28z610. I have a problem to create a golden image for a FEY PA-UL-LNB46.R001 pack, consisting of two Panasonic NCR18650BF cells in series, giving total capacity of 6700mAh.
I have seen that exist a post regarding this problem.

e2e.ti.com/.../712660

I have the same problem I am not able to see the SOC.
The problem with the customer was solved?
If yes, How can I have the golden image for a FEY PA-UL-LNB46.R001 pack?

Please let me know,
We have the project in stand-by for this problem.
I hoe you can help me.

Hello,

I have been trying for two weeks now to produce a golden image for a FEY PA-UL-LNB46.R001 pack, consisting of two Panasonic NCR18650BF cells in parallel, giving total capacity of 6700mAh.

Someone can provide the golden image for this battery pack?

Hi,

I am trying to glow LEDS 07H to 0FH using USB-I2C FTDI FT232H cable (with part number i2cChannelInfo[i].Description == "CH232HM-EDHSL-0") | (i2cChannelInfo[i].Description == "CH232HM-DDHSL-0")))

I am trying hard, but unsuccessful in writing LED contents, although am able to read the contents, Not sure whether any other registers to be initialized as pre-requisite, Kindly share me test procedure or code to glow

the LEDs.

Waiting for quick reply.

TPS3813: using TPS3813 to generate a 22 second reser watch dog

Part Number:TPS3813

Hi ,

My customer is using this part for design, they want to have 20~25 second reset window.

the Cext is set to 56 nF but the reset time can only achieve around 16 second.

It should be 22 second originally.

I just find that there are errors for the reset time setting if using the external cap

May I ask that is it because of the place mark in green causing this problem?

the 75% of 22 sec is around 16 sec

Please see the schematic from customer and let us know if there are problems need to fix

Thanks for your help.

TLV62085: Switching freq & Iout

Part Number:TLV62085

Hi,

Could you please give me advice for below questions?

1. Switching Freq is decreasing from 300mA load in Vin = 2.5V as below information. Is there idea why switching freq is decreasing in only Vin = 2.5V?

2.  The calculation for fPFM uses Iout. I guess VOS read Iout. If my understanding is correct, could you please let me know how to get Iout with VOS? (Is there internal current sense?)

BQ24610: Shorting Source pin of BATFET with System Load

Part Number:BQ24610

Hi,

I have a doubt regarding the source pin of the BATFET tht is used in BQ24610

Is it mandatory to short the Source pin of the BATFET with the System load path as encircled(in red) in the attachment(BQ24610.JPEG)?

Or else Can i treat it as two seperate path(BQ2610_ALTERNATE.JPEG )? As attached in the image Please suggest whether the battery must be connected to the battery charger IC when no adaptor is connected ?

Request you to answer this ASAP, because I am running out of time

Karthik

How to reduce ringing of the drain voltage in the push pull design

      Hai,

i am in the process of designing a push pull inverter.I had heating issues in primary and i happen to probe the drain voltage of the mosfets connected across the halfs of  transformer. The images of the ringing of the drains have been attached. How should i calculate the snubber for this ringing.Even though i had been suggested by ti to refer snubber design by Phili c tod.i couldn't find the proper way explaind in the document to reduce this ringing effect in image.how should i calculate the cap and resistor values for this type of ringing of the drain voltage. Two channels have been probed and the channels represent the halfs of the transformer with the mosfets. How should i estimate the power rating of the resistor values in design?

    2. Typically 3.7V
  2. Output 1:
    1. Vout: 3.3V
    2. I out maximum: 0.4 mA
    3. I out normal: 0.3 mA
  3. Output 2:
    1. Vout: 1.5V
    2. I out maximum: 0.2 mA
    3. I out normal: 0.15 mA
  4. Output 3:
    1. Vout: 1.2V
    2. I out maximum: 0.5 mA
    3. I out normal: 0.4 mA

The PMIC should be as small as possible. Please help me to find the best PMIC for the above requirements.

LM5145: using two LM5145's to drive TEC/Peltier module?

$

Part Number:LM5145

Team,

we have an application where we need to drive a TEC/Peltier module for both heating and cooling (up to 7A current flowing through the module in one or another direction).

Would that be achievable with two LM5145 used as below? Each of the LM5145's would need to transition from being current source to current sink and vice-versa (controlled for instance with LM10011).

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

My customer is asking on using LM3478 to achieve 3.3V Vin to 120~200Vout, 46mA Ioutmax.

a. can this be achieved using boost topology?

b. if #a is not, can this be achieved using flyback and is there a reference design on this?

Thanks.

Part Number:BQ27421-G1

Hi,

I'm using BQ27421-G1A fuel gauge in my design.

I will connect battery with my board and configure the fuel gauge registers (Design Capacity, Design Energy, Termination Voltage and Taper Rate) through microcontroller over I2C. Now I want to know what will be the accuracy of the SOC reported by the fuel gauge in this case ?

Also what needs to be done to improve the accuracy of the SOC reported by the fuel gauge ?

Thanks & Regards
