As in the bq34z100-g1 evm board , shunt resistor is capable upto 7a current .
so we removed the shunt resistor in evm and replaced a local shunt resistor which is capable of high current with specification of 0.75 m ohm , 7w .
but values are getting undesired values of charging and discharging current .
what are the required settings to be considered for getting correct values .

As you know, the actual resistor is bigger than the sensor resistor.
The sensor resistor value is 0.001 and the actual value is bigger than 0.001 because of the resistor of PCB.
Therefore, the charging current is 2690mA in bqStudio.
However, the actual charging current is 1000mA.
Is there any way to resolve the current offset?

Our customer is looking for current limiting switch or e-fuse for inrush current control of a power source..
Input voltage range is DC 60V to 150V.
UCC2921 is one example product having near feature, which has floating input power source architecture.
On the other hand, LM5069 etc. are up to 80V or more but not reaching to150V.
We will be very appreciating your help.

Hi,
We are using TPS62260DDCR part as DC DC converter in out products. It was found that the part's output gets shorted with GND.
Following are the design details with the existing:
1.) IC TPS62260DDC
2.) Inductor used is NLHF303012T-2R2. Find the link for datasheet download www.core.com.tw/search.asp
3.) Total Output Capacitance is 33uF.
4.) Total Input capacitance is 100uF.
5.) Divider used are R1=14K8(1%) and R2=3.3K(1%). For generating ~3.3V. External Feed forward Capacitor used(C1) as 22pF.
Here the layout is not a concern as i have the EVB board as well with me. The same IC with EVB board gets damaged. As the output voltage gets short with the ground.
Here we are facing the issue from the field for the IC getting shorted to Ground. On analysis it was found that during power on the IC switching waveform of goes below 0V. Can this be the reason for the IC failure. As this is observed in the 5V to 3.3V generation.
Also it was found that the if the inductor is shorted the IC gets damaged. This was the case when Vin=5V and Vout=3.3V(Iout = 300mA). This was repeated 5 times. Every time the IC was shorted.
While in case Vin =5V and Vout=1.2V(Iout=300mA), if inductor is shorted, The IC gets intoshutdown mode and recovers back properly. This was repeated 10 times no damage were observed.
Can you suggest the reason for above and the observation. Is there any issue in the part?
Also we need to know the internal N-Channel MOSFET ratings?

They want to know if there are some command to control update timming ?

Hi i'm new to energy harvesting ICs. I need to switch on power to the load when the capacitor/supercap reaches 3.3V and cutoff power to the load when discharged to 2.7V.
Is this possible using the BQ25504 ? what do I need to change ? is a BQ25505 better for this purpose ?
How can I change the two voltage thresholds ?

but the result is same.

We use AM3358 + TPS65910A3A+coin-cell backup BAT(220mA 3.2V) for our board.
when main power is off, We use VRTC only mode of TPS65910A3A that backup BAT current is 253uA. so the backup BAT life time is just 1 month.
how to decrease backup BAT power consumption??
