LM5025A: Is it possible to use LM5025A in Boost-Flyback topology?

Dear Sir/Ms.

My customers refer to the PMP20497 to design their products but now find the problems to trigger  OCP.
www.ti.com/.../PMP20497
Customer specifications
Vin: 12V~56V
Vout: 55.5V/1A (system load 0A~0.6A)
The customer has sent us the PCB and circuit diagrams, and I can't touch the OCP with CT and R14. I see that the voltage of R12-R13 from the oscilloscope is 168mV.
Can you guide us how to adjust the parameters of OCP?

hello! everybody.

I have disigned an active balance system according ti_00817,connect to 14 Li-cell using two emb1428 and one emb1499.the cell is no. 0,1,2...13 according the posiiton of gnd.I find only no. 0,1,2,3 cell can do active balance.no.4,5,6...13 can not do active balance,the fault code is first 0b0001(primary current limit),after some seconds the fualt code is 0b1001(CS falling edge while slew is low or the EMB1428 is waiting for it to go high).I have work hard to resolve this problem.but I have no go well in three week.anyone can help me,why do the fault occur? thank you very much!

Hi,

I'm thinking of using the LM5141 device.
Among them, I would like to ask you about the setting of frequency dithering.
There is a formula to calculate CDITH in item 7.3.5 of the data sheet.
I think that FMOD indicates the fluctuation period of the variation.
Is there a proper value for this FMOD?
In EVM, CDITH = 0.01uF, which is calculated to be 8.33kHz.
How did you decide this value? Please let me know if there is a standard to determine the value.

since the layout from tps55010 datasheet doesn't show Cc,Rc,Chf so that customer doesn't know how should they make the layout with Cc,Rc,Chf.

could you tell me should they change or just follow the datasheet?

(For example, Initial Boost Voltage of Ver.B is 24V, but I want to change it to 27V.)

Also, does the write timing change with 0x60-78 and 0x00-0D ?

TPS63020: Boot-up resonate issue?

Hi Support,

Issue:

  • When input VBAT > 3.7V, the output is okay at 3.8V. Then reduce the VBAT to 3.2V, it’s still working. -> OKAY
  • When input VBAT < 3.6V, let’s say VBAT = 3.4V, the output is about 1.8V -> NOKY

Please advise.

BQ25895: VBUS_GD, PG_STAT, VBUS_STAT registers

Hi,

I wonder what's the sequence when these registers are changed when I plug an adaptor.

What I know from the datasheet is:

1. when pass the "Poor Source Qualification" VBUS_GD will be set.

2. and then when "Input Source Type Detection" is done, PG_STAT is set. 

Is VBUS_GD is always set before PG_STAT bit is set?

Is VBUS_STAT changed simultaneously with PG_STAT?

Then should I use VBUS_GD bit or PG_STAT to determine if adaptor is inserted?

Is it possible that VBUS_GD is 1, but VBUS_STAT is 000?
